Mandatory Premarital Rubella Serologic Testing in Colorado

Abstract
On July 1, 1971, a Colorado law went into effect requiring a serologic test for rubella of each female marriage license applicant. During the first 18 months, 22,785 sera were processed; of these, 3,281 (14.4%) were negative (hemagglutination inhibition titer, JAMA229:1200-1202, 1974)
