Abstract
To the Editor: Horowitz and his co-workers indicated in the March 13 issue that the results of surgical treatment of ventricular tachycardia obtained by our group were poor. In referring to those results, they stated: "In their patients with coronary-artery disease, surgery guided by epicardial mapping alone has been almost uniformly unsuccessful in abolishing the tachycardia (the procedure was successful in one of 13 patients)."
