Abstract
This paper describes the design and the construction of the electrostatic analyzer for low energy of about 10 eV charged particles, and time-of-flight mass spectrometer with mass resolving power of less than 30 for 50 eV ions. With application of gated counting method, accurate energy distributions for each ion species have been obtained. Ion temperature and density ratio of each ion species for highly ionized steady state plasma have been also determined. Keywords
