Infra-red absorption frequency of ionic crystals

Abstract
The infra-red absorption frequency has been computed using a simple and direct approach which connects it with other lattice properties. The results are, in general, in reasonable agreement with the experimental data that exist and also with the values obtained from the dispersion curves of frequency against wave vector.Keywords
