Nuclear Structure inCd113from theCd112(d, p)Reaction

Abstract
The Cd112(d, p)Cd113 reaction induced by 13-MeV deuterons was studied with the Aldermaston multigap spectrograph. Essentially all states up to 2.8 MeV were observed. Spins and parities, as well as spectroscopic factors, are determined with the aid of distorted-wave Born-approximation (DWBA) calculations. Triton cross sections from the Cd114(d, t)Cd113 reaction were used to determine which of the ln=2 transitions led to d32 levels and which led to d52 levels.
