Abstract
Lymphangioma circumscriptum (LC) is usually treated by excision. Radiotherapy is not considered suitable primary treatment (Kinmonth, 1972). We report a case which was treated by superficial X-rays with almost complete regression. Regression was very slow. Reviewing the literature we discovered that X-ray therapy has never been properly tested for treating this condition. We conclude that this modality of treatment is rational, effective and warrants further testing. Keywords
