Abstract
Approximate wave functions and atomic field for mercury have been calculated by the method of the self-consistent field, and tables of preliminary results are given. A considerable amount of the calculations was carried out on the differential analyzer, and a short account of the application of the differential analyzer to this work is given. Keywords
