Abstract

A simple colorimetric method for quantitative estimation of peroxidase in serum or plasma was described. The averages for the plasma peroxidase, expressed as horseradish peroxidase, were 59.3x 10-3 gamma/cc for healthy girls and 58.7x 10-3 gamma/cc for healthy boys of the age of from 7 to 11 years.
