Abstract
Reaction of [Mo{P(OMe)3}2(Me3SiC2H)(η5-C9H7)][BF4] with K[BHBus 3] affords the metallacyclopropene [[graphic omitted]H2{P(OMe)3}2(η5-C9H7)], structurally identified by X-ray crystallography, which rearranges quantitatively into the alkylidyne complex [MoC.CH2SiMe3{P(OMe)3}2(η5-C9H7)].Keywords
