Abstract
The excitation cross sections and are calculated using a close-coupling formalism, which includes exchange effects. A cascade-adjusted cross section for is obtained which agrees with the experimental cross section of Stone and Zipf within estimated error uncertainties. Finally, some discussion is given concerning the effects of poorly positioned autodetaching states, which are introduced by an inadequate close-coupling expansion.
