Abstract
A new roentgeno-graphic method, pantomography, enabling the recording on flat film of the curved outer and inner thin layers of an object, is descr. The pantomograph consists of a motor-driven chair and rotating film-holder. With object and the film revolving at identical angular velocities a pantomogram of a curved thin layer of the object is obtained. It is necessary only to bend the film into the shape of the layer to be radiographed, for representation of the layer in question to be registered. The theory and practical application of the apparatus which was developed are discussed in detail. Keywords
