Abstract
A general method is proposed to frequency domain analysis of Longitudinally Inhomogeneous Waveguides (LIWs). In this method, the electric permittivity and also the transverse electric and magnetic fields are expanded in Taylor's series. The field solutions are obtained after finding unknown coefficients of the series. The accuracy of the method is studied using a comprehensive example. Keywords
