Abstract
The integrated density of energy levels for the Frisch-Lloyd model of a disordered system is calculated in the limit of very large negative energy, when the potential is attractive. It is found that the level density goes to zero, but not rapidly enough for the partition function to exist. Therefore the Frisch-Lloyd model for attractive potentials does not represent a stable physical system. Keywords
