Calculation of the Statistical Properties of Strange Attractors

Abstract
A path-integral method is developed for the calculation of the statistical properties of a class of dissipative mappings which exhibit strange attractors. Exact analytic results are derived for the low-order statistical moments. These nontrivial results are verified numerically.Keywords
