Abstract
Titrimetric and spectrophotometric methods for the determination of catecholamines as pure substances and in their dosage forms were investigated and found to offer an improvement in ease, speed and accuracy. Both methods are based on the formation of adrenochromes and employ organic brominating agents. Data obtained for several commercial samples are reported and compared with those obtained using official procedures. Keywords
