Abstract
Since surgical ablation, the only definitive therapy, has apparently reached its limit in reducing the toll from this increasingly prevalent neoplasm, the search for antecedent factors has become a major focus of research. A small percentage of cases appears to have a hereditary basis but most do not; rather, the evidence increasingly suggests, a significant role is played by environmental factors such as diet. Keywords
