Abstract
The 129I Mössbauer spectra of I(pyridine)2ClO4 and ‐NO3, I(thiourea)2I, I(acetate)3, a possible phosphate derivative II‐phosphate, and I2O4 are reported. Comparisons of the results of these experiments with those of previous workers raise questions concerning the use of simple models in interpreting 129I Mössbauer data. Keywords
