Abstract
A previous publication has shown that changes in the twisting rate in false-twist texturing cause the generation of real twist in the final yarn. The equations developed in the earlier analysis assumed an even distribution of twist in the processing zone. New equations are presented that extend the original analysis and take account of the findings of recent investigations into processing-zone twist distribution. Keywords
