Abstract
The authors report their experience with regard to operative fibrecolonoscopy both in routine and emergency cases. After taking into consideration the use of this technique for the study and treatment of rectal and colonie polyps, they also recommend the use in emergency conditions of colonie haemorrhage and in the removal of foreign bodies. They conclude that therapeutic colonoscopy must be recognised as one of the most useful methods of diagnosis and treatment of some lesions of the rectum and colon. Die Autoren berichten über ihre Erfahrung bei der operativen Fiberkoloskopie unter Routineund Notfallbedingungen. Die Koloskopie sollte nicht nur aus diagnostischen Gründen und zur Entfernung von Dickdarmpolypen, sondern auch zur Lokalisation von Blutungsquellen im Kolon und zur Bergung von Fremdkörpern eingesetzt werden. Die therapeutische Koloskopie hat sich bei bestimmten Veränderungen in Rektum und Kolon als effektive Methode im Rahmen von Diagnostik und Therapie erwiesen.
