Abstract
Excluding the female's responsibility to bear and nurture the fertilized cell until maturity, the problems of male infertility are quite similar. Proper management of the male includes an investigation which is as painstakingly detailed as it is in the female. It includes careful bimanual examination of the scrotal contents and detailed expert evaluation of at least two semen specimens. Assignment of relative responsibility of husband and wife depends on correlation of the findings in each. Contrary to popular misconception, effective therapy is available in a considerable percentage of infertile men, and their prognosis, all-important to the childless couple, is readily attained. Keywords
