Abstract
Polyesters showing thermotropic mesophasic behaviour have been prepared by us by reaction of aliphatic acyl chlorides with some aromatic molecules like 4,4′-dihydroxy-α-methyl stilbene (HOC6H4C(CH3)=CHC6H4OH); 4,4′-dihydroxybenzalazine (HOC6H4CH=N=CHC6H4OH) and 4,4′- dihydroxy-α,α′-dimethylbenzalazine (HOC6H4C(CH3)=N-N=C(CH3)C6H4OH).Keywords
