Abstract
The two-body final-state-interaction effect in the Bose-Einstein correlation analysis is estimated for like-sign and unlike-sign dipions. Within the experimental uncertainty of the s-wave ππ scattering phase shifts in the channel of isospin 2, removal of the strong ππ final-state interaction enhances the Bose-Einstein correlation signal by ()%. It is pointed out that the same Bose-Einstein correlation may be seen in production as well.
