Abstract
In this work, we studied the in vitro sensitivity of 24 strains of Actinomadura madurae to a new oxazolidinone (DA-7867), gatifloxacin, moxifloxacin, and garenoxacin by using a broth microdilution method. We observed that the A. madurae strains had a high level of sensitivity to all the antimicrobials tested. The most active drug was DA-7867, with a MIC at which 90% of the strains are inhibited (MIC90) of 0.125 μg/ml and a MIC50 of 0.06 μg/ml.Keywords
