Abstract
Twenty-four male volunteer undergraduate students were equally divided into four groups—(a) hypnosis and task motivating instructions, (b) deep hypnosis and task motivating instructions, (c) task motivating instructions alone, and (d) control. Kinesthetic learning, as measured by a 10-choice-point stylus maze, was unaffected by the experimental conditions. Possible interpretations in light of recent work on physical endurance tasks are discussed. Keywords
