Anomalous Artery in Intralobar Bronchopulmonary Sequestration

Abstract
INTRALOBAR bronchopulmonary sequestration of the lung refers to the association of a congenital cyst of the lower lobe of a lung with an anomalous artery arising from the aorta either above or below the diaphragm. Many theories about the origin of sequestration have been advanced.1 2 3 4 The main etiologic factor is the anomalous artery.
