Abstract

The BF₃·OEt₂ mediated reactions between alkynyl diether hexacarbonyldicobalt complexes 1 and stannylsilanes 3 or 7 afford cycloheptenyne cobalt complexes 4 or fluorocycloheptyne complexes 8 depending upon the conditions of reaction.
