Abstract
Compound-nuclear reactions induced by bombardment of , , and targets with 20-60-MeV , , and beams have been used to study transitions between high-spin states in nuclei in the mass region . Results for and are presented to exemplify the method and results. The -ray decay of states with probable spins up to are observed in both nuclei.
