Abstract
Rous chicken sarcoma cells can be grown, and the growth rate measured, in homologous plasma medium provided crystalline soybean trypsin inhibitor is added to the medium. Without the inhibitor the cells liquefy the medium, thus making permanent cultivation and measurement of growth rate impossible. Inhibitor also slows growth rate of cells. Keywords
