Abstract
Five deaths resulting from paroxysmal tachycardia secondary to Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome and 3 additional deaths in patients with the Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome which were probably due to paroxysms of tachycardia were discussed. Six of the deaths were collected from the literature and 2 were added by this report. With such a number of deaths associated with the Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome it is advisable to guard the prognosis. Keywords
