Abstract
A fast neutron time‐of‐flight spectrometer for use with a tandem accelerator is described. Charged‐particle bursts of less than 2‐nsec duration and with peak currents of 15 to 20 μA are produced by bunching the negative particle beam before acceleration and chopping the positive particle beam after acceleration. Keywords
