Abstract
While frequency analysis of the elctroencephalogram is not unusual, relatively little examination has been performed in the time domain. Separation of the waves into the intervals of their duration above a baseline, irrespective of wave shape, has allowed a simple, numerical distinction to be made between the "eyes-open" and "eyes-closed" electroencephalogram. Keywords
