Abstract
Preview Cough, a common and distressing symptom, has many causes. It may be a manifestation of a serious illness or it may represent merely a minor irritation, but in children it is always disturbing to the physician, the patient, and the parents. Dr Cloutier has, in this article, provided insight concerning the nature of coughing and how the physician might approach diagnosis and treatment One reviewer evaluated the article as “certainly of interest to the practicing physician.”Keywords
