Abstract
There are two major problems when we first try to construct a campus wide educational environment on top WWW. First, interactions between teachers and students are basically one-way. Teachers put materials into the information store and students retrieve them. Secondly students often get lost when navigating in hypermedia documents. In order to improve the interaction between teachers and students, we make use of the existing communication facilities in Internet like electronic mail, text talk, and our newly designed communication facility, Notebook. In order to prevent students getting lost in hyperspace, we add two new navigation facilities to the current WWW system: Overview map and Guider. Keywords
