Abstract
The crystal structure of sterigmatin has been determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis. The crystals are triclinic; space group P1, Z=2, with a=14.392(4), b=14.120(4), c=4.256(2) Å, α=78.22(3), β=100.42(3), γ=56.90(3)°. The structure was refined to an R value of 0.039 for 1961 reflections. There are two intramolecular hydrogen bonds in each of the crystallographically independent molecules. Keywords
