Abstract
We have utilized the trapping of electrons on quantized vortex lines in rotating He II to permit detection of single lines in order to study the appearance and disappearance of the first few lines in a capillary rotating about its axis. It seems likely that an extension of the method will permit study of the spatial distribution of vortices in rotating vessels of He II.This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
