Volatile and Cellular Fatty Acids of Haemophilus vaginalis

Abstract
The major volatile acid produced by Haemophilus vaginalis was acetic acid. The absence of propionate, butyrate, and cellular branched-chain fatty acids indicates that H. vaginalis is not related to Propionibacterium or Butyribacterium .Keywords
