Abstract
The type of protein in the diet affected the hatchability of the eggs. No significant difference in the composition of the proteins of the eggs produced on the different diets was apparent. The diet did not seem to affect the total ash or Fe content of the egg-yolk-proteins. The Cu content varied markedly even for eggs from the same hen and on the same diet.
