Coping Skills Training with Insulin-Dependent Pre-Adolescent Diabetics

Abstract
Social skills training was used to develop effective social coping skills in pre-adolescent insulin-dependent diabetics. Multiple baseline analyses revealed marked changes in target behaviors. In addition, the effects of treatment generalized to untrained role play scenes and a real life situation. The potential benefits of social skills training with pre-adolescent insulin-dependent diabetics are discussed.
