Abstract
Fully nonaxisymmetric magnetohydrodynamic equilibria have been calculated numerically for the Proto-Cleo stellarator utilizing a fully three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic equilibrium code. It was found that recently observed anomalous circulating currents in stellarators may be a result of the equilibrium condition.Keywords
