Abstract
Electroencephalic audiometry (EEA) was performed on 34 children between the ages of nine months and 59 months: (x) 17 subjects with impairment in auditory sensitivity; (y) six subjects with aphasia, mental retardation, etc; and (z) 11 subjects with the auditory losses other than decreased auditory sensitivity. Pentathol in addition to Nembutal decreased EEA, except in children whose problems were primarily auditory. The first group with pure auditory problems show a greater responsivity to increase if stimulus intensity is increased. The so-called K-complex tends to occur more often in the (x) group. Keywords
