Abstract
Radio propagation characterisation within buildings has received particular attention for the engineering and the development of mobile radio systems. To evaluate accurately the propagation phenomena, the knowledge of DOAs is very useful. We compare three direction of arrival (DOA) algorithms: Wiener inversion, beamforming and MUSIC. We have tested their robustness according to the major hypotheses: sources in the horizontal plan and planar waves. Then, we apply the three algorithms to wide band measurements made at 2.2 GHz in penetration and indoor configurations. Keywords
