Abstract
The problem of simulating the production process in a hydrothermal system is addressed in a stochastic environment. A method is demonstrated to simulate the operation of a seasonal hydro unit with random energy in a stage-by-stage stochastic production simulation approach. The method can be extended to several independent units with minor adaptations. Keywords
