Abstract
Small and reliable computer systems are now within the budgets of most small businesses. This article describes several examples of how small business managers are using small computers to manage more effectively. In particular, examples in the credit management, inventory control, and other management control areas are explored. The ability of a small computer to grow as company needs require is · elaborated with examples of expansion into distributed data processing. Finally, problems to avoid with small computer installation and use are considered.
