Abstract
The radiative mean lifetime of the upper electronic state (B2Σ) of the violet system of CN has been measured to be (8.5±1.)10—8 sec, corresponding to an oscillator strength f=(2.7±0.3)10—2. These results include contributions, of undetermined weights, from the (0, 0) through (4, 4) vibrational transitions. Keywords
