Abstract
Liberation of inorganic P by homogenates was shown to be a measure of phosphorylase reactivation in rabbit liver slices by epinephrine, glucagon, and ephedrine. In increasing concentrations, epinephrine and glucagon produced an almost linear increase in phosphorylase activity. Ephedrine and glucagon are additive in their effect on phosphorylase, whereas ephedrine and epinephrine are not.
