Fertility Problems in the Renal Transplant Patient

Abstract
Renal function, and pituitary and testicular hormone levels were correlated with spermatogenesis in 7 male patients who had undergone successful kidney transplantations. Functions of the pituitary-Leydig cell axis were not impaired. Abnormal renal function had a direct adverse affect on spermatogenesis.
