Abstract
Derivatives of averaged response functions with respect to random perturbations are related exactly, in the limit of vanishing perturbations, to known thermodynamic functions of the pure model. Near the critical point, these relations confirm the values of the cross-over exponents (without assuming hyperscaling) and yield exact values for the related amplitudes. The examples of random fields and random exchange interactions are discussed in detail. Keywords
