Abstract
Novel expressions for the probability and the cumulative density function of the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) at the output of an L-branch selection combining receiver, operating in Weibull fading, are derived. Capitalising on these expressions, the outage probability and the average output SNR are obtained in closed-form.Keywords
