Abstract
The self-diffusion coefficient in Kr has been measured throughout a large range of densities ( ) at temperatures near the critical one. The results are compared with molecular-dynamic calculations and with the C behavior. Although the qualitative agreement is good, disagreement from a quantitative point of view was found. The "normal behavior" of the self-diffusion coefficient in the critical region has been deduced.
