Auger decay of resonantly excited (n= 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9) states

Abstract
Auger decay of resonantly excited states (n = 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9) in Kr has been studied by means of synchrotron-radiation-excited electron spectroscopy utilizing the Auger resonant Raman effect. Many transitions have been identified for the first time. Shake probabilities as well as branching ratios of final state parent multiplets have been studied for a wide variety of principal quantum numbers. Valence photoelectron satellite intensities have been found to increase clearly at resonance photon energies.
